    Part of instructions is incomplete.I can not understand what d is an what is e is it lining or what?I can’t understand the pattern,I’m trying to make this bag I think it looks great.

      Fabric E is the lining. You cut 2 17″ x 16″ rectangles for the lining front and back, then an 8″ square for an inside pocket. Fabric D is the zipper pocket facing and interior pocket for the vertical zipper on the left side of the bag.
